Marcus brings a deep and diverse portfolio of public service, civic engagement, and policy implementation to Leadership Ohio’s Board. With a strong background in workforce development and nonprofit governance, he has advanced efforts to promote inclusive growth and equitable opportunities across Ohio’s urban, small-city, and rural communities.

He currently serves as the Director of Programs and Services for the Area 3 Workforce Development Board, Greater Cleveland Works, overseeing workforce development programming for all of Cuyahoga County. A committed civic leader, Marcus pairs practical on-the-ground experience with a systems-level perspective on community, workforce, and economic development, working to ensure growth benefits all residents. As a Leadership Ohio Trustee, he brings strategic insight, collaborative energy, and an equity-focused mindset to support the organization’s mission of cultivating leaders who drive positive change across the state.
